There is a wonderful, creative cake artist name Miso Bakes. She held monthly challenges on her blog, encouraging cake decorators out there to think outside the box or outside the “tip” in this case. Miso would give a tip number and a color of buttercream to be used and pretty much after that it was up to the artist. This was a great exercise for me since I usually just associated each tip with having one purpose. I give Miso a lot of credit for helping me start thinking creatively when it came to dessert! This cake was done using a petal tip.
